You could be driving an old car or a shiny, new one, but when the time for a tune-up comes, you will have no choice to bring it to the shop. A car audio installation may be optional, but a tune-up isn’t.
So, when are you supposed to bring your car in for a tune-up?
When you’re having a hard time starting your car, that’s a good time to think about a tune-up. The same goes if your car has frequently been stalling. Another sign that your vehicle needs a tune-up is when it produces knocking sounds when accelerating, which indicates problems with engine efficiency. A tune-up is also in order if your fuel efficiency is already becoming low because bad gas mileage is a sign your car might be having fuel injection issues.
