Lesson one about cybersecurity we’ve already learned from covid – we are not prepared. On the virus side of things we were not prepared to face a major global pandemic – we didn’t even have PPE in place to begin to mount a response. Many companies sent people home to work even though parameters weren’t in place, which led to a sharp increase in phishing and hacking attempts as people left the security of their work devices and networks.
