Type 2 Diabetes is defined as adult-onset diabetes, a chronic condition characterized by high blood sugar and insulin resistance. The common symptoms include frequent urination, weight loss and increased thirst, while the significant causes are genetic trait, obesity or inadequate physical exercise.
Most frightening is the wide prevalence of this disorder – in the US alone, 8% of the population are declared diabetic and another 35% of adult population are diagnosed as pre-diabetic!
