‘Chakra’, the Sanskrit word for wheel, refers to invisible wheels of energy that flow through the human body. An integral part of ancient wisdom, the concept was first mentioned in the Vedas, approximately 2000 years ago. The body is said to comprise 114 Chakras, with the main 7 Chakras stretching from the crown of the head down to the base of the spine.
