The Paleo Diet is a pattern of eating that takes inspiration from the food habits of early man – Paleolithic Man from a million years back. When man foraged from nature for fruits, vegetables, meats and fish. When food choices depending on the environment – for example, the Inuit’s diet was loaded with animal fats and almost no veggies. In principle, Paleo foods meant staying focused on natural foods.
