As inhabitants of Planet Earth, we get to see and experience some spectacular geophysical phenomena, be it tsunamis, cyclones, shrinking glaciers, or mindboggling structures like Eye of the Sahara, an immense circular hole in the middle of the desert, or the sailing stones in Death Valley, California.
But, think about it: if Earth, just one of many bodies in the solar system, is subject to so many unexplainable and magnificent phenomenon, what about the rest of the system? Here’s a closer look at the phenomena of solar wind – and how it impacts surrounding planets and celestial bodies.
