If we could look into the future, and listen to their perceptions of history, we’d probably hear fables and children’s tales about how men in the 21st century made concrete needles that reached ever upwards, almost piercing the sky. They would talk about the race to create taller-than-the-tallest buildings that, literally, punctured the clouds.
When the Burj Khalifa was completed in 2009, it towered over all it surveyed at 2722 ft. Just 10 years later, we look forward to the Jeddah Tower, beating Burj by 236ft, to reach 3280 ft! Here’s more on these amazing technological marvels!
