Every year, the United Nations publishes a World Happiness Report that measures the happiness of people, in order that the data can be used to guide state policies. The 2017 Report noted that the States’ purpose was ‘to redefine the narrative to put people’s wellbeing at the center of governments’ efforts.’
In this context, this infographic presents ‘happiness’ data from around the world, and examines different perceptions of happiness. It also looks at how happiness is not just an outcome of something, but an end in itself, and suggests steps to make happiness into an everyday habit.
