DevOps, the acronym for Development and Operations, is defined as the practice of unifying both software development and operations into a continual toolchain. The aim and objective of this movement is to move towards a culture where every step of software construction is automated and integrated, thus dramatically reducing security risks from frequent human intervention.
This infographic discusses, with specific reference to the Windows Toolchain, how the devOps software development-to-release chain can be compared to DNA code, an unadulterated, automated mechanism that writes the pattern for building healthy organisms.
