If you live in a place where water gushes out of taps at all times, where ‘Is there water in the bathroom?’ is not even a question, count your blessings. Because, on the same planet, 844 million people don’t get basic drinking water and uncountable millions line up daily for one bucket of water (that’s all the family gets for their needs)!
What’s worse, it’s estimated that in 2025, 1.8 billion people will face severe water scarcity and 2/3rd of the world’s people will live in water-stressed zones. This world map puts the gravity of the situation in perspective.
