Glaucoma is a condition that affects the eye, caused by increased pressure that leads to fluid build-up, damaging the optic nerve and leading to blurred vision, gradual loss of sight, even blindness. The bad news is that it’s an irreversible condition. The good news is that you can control the progress and reduce the negative impact of Glaucoma by eating eye-healthy foods.
Just eating nutrient rich foods like fruits and vegetables will not work. You have to consume foods that are vitamin-dense – with high levels of Vitamin C, E, A, Zinc, Lutein and Zeaxanthin – highlighted in this infographic.
