Once, a long, long time ago, there was a classroom which was ‘one room’ and one teacher, wooden benches, and a ‘blackboard’ and ‘colored chalk’ for visual assistance. Knowledge was limited to the printed textbooks.
Today, smart-boards, web-based learning tools, tabs and laptops have become mandated classroom equipment. Knowledge is freely available, and a teachers’ task is more about how to apply that knowledge.
