Child Health in the US: Issues and Solutions – Infographic

The United States is ranked 26th in global rankings for the world’s wealthiest countries. In this context, though there are many positive indexes for child health, there are some negatives too. For example, while a significant 83%+ of 5-11 year olds are in good health, a whopping 30% of 2-11 year olds are overweight and obese, and 20% of adolescents struggle with mental disorder.

This infographic presents statistical insights into the present situation of child health in the US, and looks at the need to teach self-care, and ways to build health education in schools.
