This infographic presents the results of a wide-ranging survey that mapped the accident data of over 2.4 million vehicles along with different car model’s insurance rating and collision loss data, to arrive at a chart that ranks common car models, by their insurance losses.
An interesting observation is that high-end luxury cars fare much worse than the small cars in terms of accident rate, perhaps because of difference in drivers’ attitudes towards other cars, and public safety.
