Global warming is a term that is often bandied around, a fashionable conversation piece. The media writes volumes on it, activists and academicians speak with passion at numerous forums, and the rest of us ‘worry’ about the effects of this phenomenon. But do we really perceive the scope and depth of damage to our planet?
